About the event
🐻Grizzly Tales After Dark🐻 is a Halloween read-aloud experience created especially for older children aged 9-13 who are ready for something a little spookier than a traditional story time. Expect an atmospheric evening of dramatic storytelling designed to show just how thrilling a good book can be!
We'll be reading chilling selections from books including Scary Stories by Alvin Schwartz, Short and Shivery by Robert D. San Souci, Ask the Bones by Arielle North Olson and Howard Schwartz, and Ghost Stories for Kids Age 9-12 by Bernard Tate. 👻
Expect suspense, creepy characters, a darkened setting, and a few surprises, but no graphic horror. This event is deliberately scarier than a typical children's story time, and some younger or sensitive children may find it frightening. Parental guidance is advised.
Come for the stories, stay for the scares. 😱
